About the Author

Fascinated by computers since the early days of Star Trek, Rob McGregor began exploring computer programming with BASIC as a teenager in the late 1970s. Over the years he has worked professionally as a programmer, rock musician, software consultant, 3D computer artist, and network administrator (among other things). Rob has authored or co-authored numerous books about computer programming, including Peter Norton’s Guide to Windows 95/NT 4 Programming with MFC, also by Macmillan Computer Publishing. In 1992 he founded Screaming Tiki Interactive, a software development company that specializes in business and 3D graphics applications for Microsoft Windows.
