Loading D3 templates for development

Unlike the other tools discussed in this book, it is relatively straightforward to get started with D3. We will want to organize our work in a dedicated folder, which we will just call D3. We will also go ahead and create a text file inside the D3 folder; we will save it as index.html. This will be our working file throughout this chapter and is often the default naming convention used for the landing page for any website.
