BGP, as we saw in Chapter 1, The Border Gateway Protocol, is a complicated protocol, and troubleshooting BGP problems can be complicated, as well. In this chapter, we'll discuss some of the problems you might see when running BGP and how you can troubleshoot them, including establishing neighbors, missing routes, inconsistent routing, routing loops, and other issues.
