Potential Errors

One error message that you might encounter is “Could not load type ReportGalleryView.” This error can occur because the installer by default deploys the PowerPivotWebApp.wsp only to Central Administration and not individual SharePoint sites. To correct, log into SharePoint 2010 Central Administration and select System Settings from the left-hand navigation. From the resulting page, select Manage Farm Solutions from the Farm Management section. In the Solution Management page, click the powerpivotwebapp.wsp link.
