Justification for a Method
I believe that PowerPivot for Excel (and PowerPivot for SharePoint) will disrupt the business intelligence market much as Microsoft Access did for relational database solutions development. The barrier for entry, the threshold of effort required to implement a business intelligence solution has been dramatically lowered. Elimination of this barrier to entry will increase the number of business intelligence solutions created.
