Other Platforms
There's still no definitive word on whether the Linux platform will be supported by a future version of PowerBuilder. It will take a push from groups of larger companies to get Sybase to dedicate development efforts in this direction. Resources are finite, and the number of developers needing to deploy to Linux is quantifiably lower than what is needed to get this moving. If you see Linux in your future, contact your sales rep. Let's all try to convince Sybase that PB can still be the dominant tool it once was.
Other Unix platforms continue to be supported, but they often lag behind the Windows platform deployment. I know this is being looked at to bring the release dates for each platform closer together.
