Conclusion
Because of its openness, Sybase Enterprise Portal solution is a very innovative product. Nothing can be done with it. There is already a lot in the box, and a lot of additional products from Sybase (and elsewhere) integrate perfectly into the portal. But where there is so much light, there is also a bit of shadow. You have to invest a lot of time (and maybe also a lot of money) to get the most out of the portal. So many products are involved that if you want to have a portal of real enterprise value, it can be done only by a group of people. These people must learn a lot of Sybase products and can be called real Sybase experts after a while.
