Running the Sample in a WAP Client Environment

Now we need a way to display the WML page. We will use a simulator from Openwave. The Openwave company was formed from the merger of Phone.com and Software.com. Phone.com was itself formerly known as Unwired Planet, which was responsible for devising the Handheld Device Markup Language (HDML) for mobile devices, a predecessor of WAP. Today Openwave claims that 70% of the world's Internet-enabled phones use its mobile browser software.
