Using Data Replication

Data replication is the sharing of data among physically distinct databases. In its simplest form it is copying data from its source to a destination or multiple destinations. It is not data distribution since data distribution is manual, while replications are autonomous. After data replication is configured, no intervention is required by any user or the Database Administrator. It allows data to be replicated within a room, a building, or across the whole world automatically (you need a connection between the systems though).
