Objectives
This chapter examines the life cycle of a PowerBuilder component as it moves from the PowerBuilder environment to EAServer and on through the various stages of distributed application development. This chapter is not intended to teach the developer how to deploy a component using a PowerBuilder project; that information is well documented in PowerBuilder's help files. Instead, emphasis is placed on the challenges of deploying and promoting components in a team development environment.
