Active Server Pages (ASP)

Active Server Pages is the Microsoft Dynamic page server and is used by many companies for Web applications. Sybase provides open, nonproprietary tools and applications, and the Web DataWindow is no exception. A PowerBuilder NonVisual Object (NVO) can be deployed to Microsoft Transaction Server (MTS) as a COM object, and that object can be accessed via ASP. The process is similar to what occurs with JSP and EAServer: An instance of a component is created and then methods on that component are called to generate the DataWindow as HTML.
