Different Types of Components
Now that you understand the basic structure of the EAServer component, you can decide how to approach the development of that component. To do this, you need to understand a little about what the component is required to do and how it is required to behave. Three basic EAServer component styles exist, each of which we discuss here. We also discuss the difference between stateful and stateless components, and the difference between components and objects. The determining factor for component types is how they are deployed. But keep in mind that the target deployment has an impact on how you actually write the component.
