Objectives
In this chapter, I take you on a quick tour of Sybase EAServer (often referred to as Jaguar CTS). I introduce you to EAServer and fire it up to show you what it looks like. After showing how some of EAServer's capabilities are used in enterprises, I show you some of EAServer's components in more detail and discuss how they fit into its overall architecture. The chapter closes with a few questions that you can ask yourself to determine whether EAServer is right for your projects.
