PowerBuilder has evolved over the years following the same trends that other tools have followed, and adjusting architectures to keep pace. PowerBuilder started its foray into the distributed world with Distributed PowerBuilder (DPB). It has since undergone several changes to reach the point where today, PowerBuilder developers can build Web sites, JSPs, EAServer components, and even Web Services.
