About This Book
Before we get into a discussion of what this book is about, we should probably first talk about what this book is not about. This book is not an introduction to PowerBuilder. PowerBuilder has been around for more than 10 years. During that time, a large number of introductory books have been written for it—a number of which are recent enough to be quite adequate. We’ve included a list of our recommendations for some of those books at the end of this introduction.
We had three specific goals in mind while developing this book:
