About the Author
N. V. Ramana is Professor and Head, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (Hyderabad) College of Engineering, at Jagityal, Karimnagar (D), Andhra Pradesh. His areas of interest include power system operations and control, and dynamics and design of intelligent controllers for power system problems. He is an M.Tech. from S. V. University, Tirupati and a PhD degree holder from JNTU, the university he is associated with since 1992.
