Nagios and Windows

While you can't install Nagios itself on Windows, if you do have a Unix-like system it will run on that; you can use it to collect data from a Windows server. You simply install a Windows data collection agent that reports back to the main Nagios system, such as NSClient++ or NC_Net. Setting up these agents is covered in the Nagios installation guide.
