Have you ever wondered why some pictures are more interesting or "better" than others What is the mysterious formula Must you attend art school to understand Although there is no guaranteed formula, you can shoot better pictures by understanding some basic principles, whether or not you have an intuitive eye for design. Let me explain my understanding of intuition. To some extent your ability to intuit and perceive are governed by sensory and intellectual wiring; however, as you develop your understanding and learn about photography, what you learn over time becomes a part of you and your intuitive response. Once you learn to see the design elements all around you, your ability to read an image and create your own compelling photograph greatly improves.

LEARN THE BASICS OF COMPOSITION

The rules of composition are proven design principles you can use to create compelling images. After you learn these guidelines, your world opens up, giving you infinite creative opportunities because you know the basics. Having honed your intuitive eye, you can then take risks, break the rules, and create your own unique style. Your sense of design principles also assists you in critiquing your images, allowing you to evolve and become a better photographer.
