What to Expect

The normal day for a pop-up organizer varies based on the category (shop, restaurant, supper club, event) and the location (stand-alone space, store-within-a-store, restaurant-within-a-restaurant, etc.). Like any retail business, its day-to-day operation is a full-time commitment, if only for that day.

Not only are you the one making the product or providing the service, but unless you have a staff (which can be costly), you are also the CMO, CFO, COO, CTO, director of business development, and head intern, all in one. Be prepared for this. It is important that, before you go into the planning and development process of your pop-up, you know what you are getting into.
