Fear was originally established in all of us for a very good reason, to protect us from doing things like walking off cliffs or wandering up to venomous snakes in the wild and patting them on the head. Fear in itself is not an enemy. It is there to look after us.

However as humans we are prone to worrying about things that haven't happened yet, that we have no prior experience of and that are unlikely to happen to us, things that are purely figments of our own imagination.
