Chapter 5. Increase Your Credibility with Effective Slides

Situation today: People are creating Word documents on PowerPoint slides. The information is impossible to read. Even when using photos, the photos are many times too small to make an impression. And people make excuses by saying, "Well, I want people to be able to read the information later and understand it" or "I don't want to forget anything" or "Well, they ought to see all the pictures of these properties we have."

Key problems:

People literally cannot read the slides or see the images that are shown on the screen and become frustrated. More importantly, they cannot possibly process all the information that is being conveyed. Their brains just quit trying at a certain point.
