Creating a folderish content type

To ease the banner administration in our website, we have decided to organize banners within folders or containers; we will call them "Sections". We could have chosen to use existing folder content types, but, as stated in this chapter's introduction, we want to maximize lightness in these products.

Getting ready

The plone template we used with paster to create this new product does not know anything about its final usage. That's why, unlike in the last chapter—when we run paster with the archetype template—we must create every sub-package we need—in this case, the content sub-package.

Get inside the pox.banner product and run:

mkdir src/pox.banner/pox/banner/content touch src/pox.banner/pox/banner/content/__init__.py ...
