Introduction
My name is Horacio Pérez. I am a theatre artist from Chile. I’m 32 years old. I studied acting at the Theatre Department of the Universidad de Chile, and in 2011 I received a scholarship from the government of my country to study a Master of Arts in Arts Politics at New York University. After I finished my graduate studies I did an internship at the Public Theater in NYC, where I worked as an intern in the Literary Department, and where I saw countless readings of plays, a genre that I wasn’t too familiar with, because they are not such a developed language in Chilean theatre as they are in American theatre.
