Using Device Manager

Windows XP uses the Device Manager to manage devices. This applet is very similar to that provided in Windows 98 or Windows Me. It can also be accessed from the Computer Management application in the Administrative Tools menu folder, or, more commonly, as a standalone applet from the Control Panel System applet's Hardware properties page as shown in Figure 27.3.
