In Chapter 24, "Introduction to Dynamic HTML," you learned about the different claims made by Netscape and Microsoft as to what constitutes Dynamic HTML. As originally proposed, the two companies had a number of similarities and far more differences. As time has gone by, both Microsoft and Netscape have released newer versions of their browsers with greater support for Web technology standards, which has brought them closer to one another.
