Dynamic HTML Behaviors

When Microsoft released Internet Explorer 4, one of the technologies that they introduced and supported was scriptlets, scripted components that could be included and reused in multiple documents. Just as style sheets give developers the ability to separate content from formatting information, scriptlets provide the capability to separate content from scripted functionality.

With Internet Explorer 5, Microsoft deprecated support for scriptlets in favor of Dynamic HTML behaviors.
