Emerging XML Technologies
Chapter 10, "Introducing XML," lists the formal recommendations of the various World Wide Web Consortium Working Groups, which describe the fixed foundations for the family of XML technologies. This section lists the current Candidate Recommendations, Working Drafts, and Notes as of July 2000.
As you will see from the number of documents listed here, the development of the XML family shows no sign of slowing down. There probably will be a handful of new Recommen-dations by the end of 2000, with several more in the early part of 2001.
