5.3. Enlist a Champion

If you are hoping to transform the way you do project planning, you will need more than desire, and more than a budget allocation. You will need a champion. Without a champion, any effort to improve your planning process is probably doomed to failure. The champion is the person who can articulate a vision, inspire the troops, and rally them to battle.
