REJECTION

VERY FEW PEOPLE enjoy hearing the word no, especially in a professional setting. We cringe and feel ourselves sink into the ground under our feet. Rejection stings, and we have an innate tendency to take it personally. We feel inclined to dislike the person who is saying no. But hearing the word no is an integral part of BD and partnerships, and it’s not all bad.

The rejection itself can be subtle or overt, depending on whom you are pitching.
