Editing Audio in the Main Timeline View

SOME AUDIO EDITING IS accomplished in the Music & Voice panel. These include volume adjustments, setting a fade in/fade out, and applying audio filters. I’ll explore the first two here. Audio filters will be covered later in the chapter.

Adjusting Clip Volumes

Adjusting audio clip volume levels lets you set the volume of individual audio clips, improving the mix of your multiple audio, video clips, and overall project volume levels. This can be useful if, say, the fireworks are too loud and don’t allow you to add a voice-over or music track.
