Using Still Images

ADDING IMAGES TO YOUR movies is just as easy as adding any other media element. All you need to do is drag and drop a photo or illustration directly into any of the video tracks. Videos and stills are interchangeable. You can import them the same way, too, using the Browse button, drag and drop, or File > Insert Media File to Library method.

Because photos used in videos are often viewed on TV screens, and HD TVs at that, it’s always recommended that you use photos with the highest resolution possible. Larger image sizes help as well.
