SO FAR, YOU’VE JUST WORKED with sample clips that came included in the VSX4 libraries, and you’ll be using many more of them throughout the book. Now it’s time to learn how to import and use clips from the included lesson files. Before you do that though, you should understand the various file types that can be used in VSX4. Not only are video files supported, but so are many animation files. Remember when I mentioned that VSX4 is not an animation application, but that it can work with outputs from animation software? You can import animation files from some Autodesk and Adobe applications along with basic animated GIF files.
