17. Posing Chart

I created the Posing chart (page xvi) out of a strong desire to stop guessing while I was posing my clients. I wanted a map with certain destination points that could easily be followed; I could go from one point on the chart to another without stress or the hope that I’d get a lucky pose here and there. Now, I have complete control over the poses. Each pose requires individual practice. Every week, I practice one specific pose for about 10 minutes. The goal is to discover the pose’s weak points and strengths, the different feelings each pose evokes, and ways to create variations of each pose.
