7. Stylizing Hands and Fingers: Advanced Techniques

In the previous chapter, we discussed giving the arms and hands context so that our brains do not see them as major diversions. This chapter will focus in depth on the positioning of the hands and fingers for both genders. I will suggest poses that make a woman’s hand appear more feminine and a man’s hand appear stronger and more masculine. Remember that these are suggestions and not rules. You can follow them, change them, or break them if the pose will benefit from your decision.
