3. Uploading “Wink” into Microcontroller(s)
This chapter involves building a physical circuit in the real word to test the Flowcode program “Wink.” The first step to this approach involves collecting the hardware and components. The solderless breadboard is an essential hardware for building and prototyping temporary circuits. The construction and use of solderless breadboard has been explained in detail. A list of components and hardware required to make the microcontroller functional is also provided. Matrix Multimedia USB Programmer and EPIC Programmer from microEngineering are described. Information regarding troubleshooting the circuit is also provided. The process of building ECIO28 circuit is described.
