7.7. Metrics: Measuring Results

The ultimate measure of success in employee relations is the satisfaction level of employees. Although "satisfaction" as a concept is difficult to measure, the results achieved by satisfied employees (longevity, customer satisfaction, absenteeism, for example) are quantifiable and measurable.

Business impact measures

Two indicators of employee satisfaction that can be measured are absenteeism and turnover.
