We will be looking at a number of laws that have impacted and continue to impact labor and employee relations, including the following:

  • Sherman Anti-Trust Act, 1890

  • Clayton Act, 1914

  • Railway Labor Act, 1926

  • Norris-LaGuardia Act, 1932

  • National Industrial Recovery Act, 1933

  • National Labor Relations Act or Wagner Act, 1935

  • Labor Management Relations Act or Taft-Hartley Act, 1947

  • Labor Management Reporting and Disclosure Act or Landrum-Griffin Act, 1959

NOTE

All of these laws impact labor and labor relations. As specifically indicated in this section, however, some of them also impact employees who do not belong to a union, as well.
