Chapter 6. Compensation and Benefits

Study Strategies

  • On small index cards, write the names of laws related to compensation and benefits.

  • Prepare large index cards for each of the laws. Make note of important facts, dates, and details relating to each law. On the back of the index card, write the name of the law in pencil.

  • On a third and slightly larger set of index cards, jot down key learning points associated with each law. Just like you did with the previous set of cards, write the name of each law in pencil on the back of the card.

  • Match the three sets of cards together. Of course, don't look at the back of the cards until you've matched all of the cards—then, check to see whether you've done so correctly.
