Chapter Summary
This chapter provided an overview of each of the 19 core areas of knowledge identified by HRCI. More importantly, it provided you with the tools you will need to look for ways to integrate and link these core areas of knowledge to each other, and to each functional area, as you proceed through the rest of your test preparation.
In summary, in addition to addressing concepts and defining terms that you'll need to know for the PHR test, this chapter helped you practice another key skill that will be required for success on the PHR exam—the ability to think, look, and analyze across functional and disciplinary lines.
