B. Reference

Even after writing several books on PHP and MySQL, there are still many things that I can never quite remember. Whether it’s the proper syntax of a function, the formatting parameters used by date(), or the correct regular expression character, it’s best to have the correct syntax at hand, rather than wildly making guesses.

For this reason, I’ve placed some of the most necessary references in this one location. This appendix consists primarily of tables (most of which have appeared elsewhere in the book) but also contains a wee bit of new information.
