Using TrueType Fonts

The font options available to you when creating simple images as you did in the previous example can be limiting: five fixed-size and crude fonts. There are two other font options for creating images: PostScript fonts and TrueType fonts. PostScript fonts were designed for improved printing and are therefore more suited for straight text documents rather than Web images, in my opinion. It is an option for those more accustomed to them, but I'll stick to TrueType fonts in my examples here.
