Hello!

My purpose for writing this book is not only to teach you the features of the latest version of Photoshop, but also to pass on techniques that I have developed through my years of working with digital media. My main goal in producing this book is to inspire you to look at Photoshop and the digital medium from a different perspective—to approach the tools in ways other than the obvious usually outlined in the manual.

My hope for this book is to motivate you to experiment and explore new ways of doing things—basically, to encourage you think outside the box.
