Computer graphics are either raster images or vector graphics. Adobe Photoshop supports both types of images, and it’s common to mix the two in a single project. Newer versions of Photoshop contain vector type, giving it the ability to be resized and edited within Photoshop and Adobe After Effects. While all graphics for video end up as raster images, a clear understanding of the two categories will help you build, modify, and import artwork for your project.
