This menu is where you find the Elements Help files and tutorials. If you have Windows, you'll also find information about the program itself.

Help

You can call up the Elements Help application here, or press F1. Or you can click the Help button in the menu bar.

About Photoshop Elements (Windows Only)

Choose this for a window showing the version of Elements. Alt+click the menu for lots of scrolling information about the people who created Elements and the many, many patents involved in creating this program. Keep holding Alt while the window scrolls, and you'll find out what Adobe thinks of you. Click the window again to close it.

About Plug-In (Windows Only)

This contains a pop-out list of all the plug-ins in your copy of Elements. The program comes with a huge number of plug-ins—you don't have to do anything to make them work—they're all preinstalled. Choose a particular plug-in from the list to see information about it.

Glossary of Terms

The Elements Help files include a glossary of terms relating to digital imaging. If you're wondering what a term means, this menu item takes you to the glossary index so you can look it up.

Tutorials

The Elements Help files include some excellent tutorials. Choose this item to see a list of them.

System Info

Choose this for a window showing information about Elements itself and also about your operating system.

Online Support

Choose this option, and Elements launches your Web browser and attempts to go to Adobe's support Web site.
