Choose Local Control Features

Ansel Adams used to say that when you took the photograph, the photographer's work was only partly done. A problem everyone has, from the top pro to the beginning amateur, is that the camera does not always interpret the world the way that people see it. A photograph of a beautiful natural scene is not the same as that natural scene.

One way to deal with these challenges is to work at seeing the world from your camera' s perspective. What can or can it not capture? Check your LCD to see what the camera is truly seeing and decide if you need to try something different to get a better photo.
