Part I. Manipulating 3D Models

IN THIS PART

  • Chapter 1 Introducing the Photoshop 3D Workspace

  • Chapter 2 Manipulating 3D Objects, Cameras, and Lights

Manipulating 3D models consists of moving or transforming those models in 3D space. Manipulating a 3D model in 3D space using a two-dimensional interface can be an interesting process. It is easy to lose your perspective. This part serves as an introduction to how the spatial relationships of 3D modeling work.

You will also be introduced to the new 3D Transformation options bar found in Photoshop. Using the Transformation options, you will be able to manipulate and move 3D models, cameras, and lights. Learning the basics of 3D transformation will make you more effective in editing 3D objects and using them to create composites.
