Don't let the title of this chapter fool you—the photographic special effects here don't take one hour.

Most take like three minutes. Well, four if you're Photoshopping with one hand, eating a sandwich with the other. If you charge by the hour, this is the last thing you want to hear, but there's a way around that: If the photo effect you want to use has 12 steps, do only the first 10 steps.
