Working with Light

Light is the main language between the human eye and the objects around it. When light falls on an object and reflects to the human eye, how it reflects is based on many factors, such as the object’s volume, surface texture, materials, and colors. Light is the main tool of the eye in determining the object’s volume.

When light falls on 3D objects, it reflects based on the 3D object’s shape, which creates light areas and shadowed areas. The differences between light and shadow create the object’s or the scene’s depth. Light is thus one of the major factors to consider when building 3D objects and scenes.
