11.2. Where Can I Get the Best Shot?
The village area is not very large. Following the paths through the village takes you to many locations for good photographs (see A on the map). From the perimeter path, you can get an overall view of the structures, and by taking the interior paths, you can get close and isolate individual structures and their details.
The best location from which to photograph Indian Village: (A) the grounds behind the Visitor Center and Yosemite Museum Gallery. Other photo ops: (1) Ahwahnee Hotel, (22) Three Brothers, (28) Yosemite Chapel, (29) Yosemite Falls.
