Commercial Photography

Commercial photography is photography that sells products or services to a specific audience. While that may sound rudimentary, it’s what you’ll want to remember on set, because it’s the first thing you should be considering when photographing anyone for a commercial image. Your only focus as a commercial photographer should be to sell that product or service and make your audience feel as if they could NEVER live without it. For example, if you’re photographing a commercial hair campaign, your focus should be to accentuate the hair and less so the subject. It doesn’t mean that you want your subject to look terrible.
